“ I get my food to go when I come here. That being said I give it a higher rating than if I sat down. Food is great but I am not from a spanish speaking country. So take that for what its worth. I've been here many times and continue to do so. I have to admit, this place is usually my back up when I cant drive to Brasilia Grill in newark, but that shouldn't deter you from checking this place out. In the evening and into the night there is a DJ spinning good music. I cant dance to it but still... fun to watch. Personally I find it too loud to sit down and dine, especially with a DJ here but again I come here for the food. Its a better bar scene than it is a sit-down-and-dine place. The plantains are not greasy. I dont know how they do it, its awesome. Also, the sweet corn tamales are great, rice and beans, and all the basic staples. They sometimes run out of stuff (food) I want. It can get frustrating but I still come back. I cant get enough. Overall Im happy here and have been coming back for months. I won't sit down and dine as it may tarnish my overall experience. Great for groups, pool table in the back, the only eye candy is behind the bar unfortunately. Not a sexy bar crowd ”
